3rd edition of our Ambit Meets event

In June 2025, we celebrated the third edition of Ambit Meets, a gathering where innovation and transformation in the pharmaceutical sector take center stage.

This year, we reflect on the present and future of the industry under the theme “Pharma 4.0: Technological Innovation and Digitalization”, in a unique space for healthcare: the Institute of Ocular Microsurgery (IMO).

How was the event experienced?

• Real cases with two amazing speakers: We had presentations from Ferran González (Almirall) and Ariadna Masó (SANNO).
• Cutting-edge tech solutions: Our partners ValGenesis, EasyVista, Appliant, and Agilent showcased use cases.
• Collaborative group dynamics: We invited participants to share challenges and solutions in different groups.

It was a space of closeness and collaboration, where networking areas turned into quality conversations and support among professionals in the sector.

2nd edition of our Ambit Meets event

In May 2024, we celebrated the second edition of Ambit Meets, a space for meeting and collaboration among professionals in the Life Science sector. 

This time, we got together with Pharma & Biotech experts to promote the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices around the topic “The transition from validation to software quality assurance."

We had three expert speakers:

• Bob McDowall, a consultant with over 30 years of experience in computerized system validation.

• Bibiana Camps Lozano, IT Validation Director​ at Grifols

• Eulàlia Roca, Corporate Processes QA Manager​ at Noucor.

We set up a roundtable to discuss concerns and best practices in the industry. 

To wrap up the meeting, we had a guided tour of the electron accelerator complex that generates synchrotron radiation in Spain: ALBA Synchrotron.

1st edition of our Ambit Meets event

In 2023, we launched "Ambit Meets," an initiative to promote meetings and collaboration among professionals in the Life Science sector.

The first edition of Ambit Meets took place at the Sant Pau Modernist Site and focused on “Changes in validation over the last 10 years.".

It was a first meeting with some customers from the pharmaceutical sector to share obstacles and opportunities of the industry in relation to the validation process.
